We built it from almost nothing. Travel and accommodations for guests and the wedding party arriving from out of town and overseas. Every vendor, from the MC to the makeup artist. The ceremony and reception programs, the menu, the limo, the custom favors, and a timeline for every single minute.
Guests still say it felt like a million-dollar occasion. The kind of night people simply do not stop talking about.
And the bride, who assumed she would be far too busy to enjoy her own wedding, got to be a guest at it. She ate during cocktail hour. She had her full dinner. She had dessert. She was present for all of it.
She had even arranged for a meal to be waiting at her hotel, certain she would leave hungry. At the end of the night, asked if she still needed it, she said: no, I'm already full. I've eaten everything.
